we supported:
Hijas
de la Caridad de San Vicente de Paul (San Juan)
It provides care for 60 children and allows their mothers to go to work and help
the household with the income they make.
Comedor
los Pajaritos (Mendoza)
This Soup Kitchen feeds 100 children and also provides children with tutoring
and help with school work as well as general support. It gives training to
mothers and older girls in the activities related to the care of the children.
Comunidad
Huarpes de Guanacach, Lavalle Desert (Mendoza)
It provides food for families living on this Indigenous Reservation.
La
Casa del Nino (Jujuy)
It provides food, clothing, school help and instruction on how to grow vegetables.
Also provides scholarships for one gifted student to attend a university.
80 children attend this Center. Parents and youngsters make bread which is
then sold in the neighboring areas.
Organizacion
Maria T. Maciel ( Tres Arroyos, province of Buenos Aires)
With our support they have built a sports’ facility for children and
adolescents. The new project is to build a trailer with all necessary materials
to set up a library for the benefit of 180 students and their families.
Hogar
para una Sonrisa mas (Gonzalez Chaves, province of Buenos Aires)
It provides daily assistance of food, clothing, education and general support
to disadvantaged children. Funds are helping with the construction of a new
children’s center.
Centro de Apoyo Familiar Sta. Clotilde (Pacheco, Province
of Buenos Aires) It provides food, academic mentoring and sports training
to 350 children. Funds will go to the construction and enhancement
of the Center’s premises.
Fundacion
Cooperativa para la Nutricion Intantil “CONIN Chaco” (Chaco) It
provides nutritional education to mothers, assistance and medical exams
to malnourished children who are less than 3 years of age.
Jardin
Maternal de las “Damas Rosadas” (Beccar, Province
of Buenos Aires) It provides full time day care to babies from very poor
families. More than 60 children attend this Center. Funds will be used
to expand the facilities
in order to assist more children.
Centro
Educativo La Salle, Malvinas Argentinas (Córdoba)
It provides training to young people for the production of sandwiches and preserves.
The organization trains participating youngsters to learn the necessary skills
needed to facilitate their access to the general labor market.
